I purchased this for my carbon cycle-cross bike. The sub compact 30-46 chain rings are great for climbing and a bit of offroad riding. The 170mm feel much better to me than my old 175mm crank arms a little more spinny and a little less grindy. Working well with a Shimano 105 front derailleur. All you should need for installation is a bit of grease and a 10mm hex wrench. I'll probably he purchasing another pair of these for a mountain bike build for my son. I hope you like the as much I do.
