The pins in the chain shown in the picture are not also gold plated they are just steel pins. Other than that the quality is nice and the chain feels sturdy. Used for my fixed gear

i have ordered numerous KMC single speed chains and all have worked great and i have had no problems with them. They work great for my beach cruiser that i beef up with some BMX style.
