Kool-Stop Supra 2 Rim Brake Pads Threaded Post Black Compound Long Life

the washers take some frittering to get right but they allow for calipers that aren't perfectly square with the rim. the braking is silent and much improved over 40 mm brake blocks. pads self adjust to a degree as they wear in. i've liked Kool Stop pads and shoes since the late 1900's!
PS - it is worth it to take your tires off the rims when you set them up but nobody does...;

Cool Stop Surpra's are nothing but a Eagle with different spacers; which means like the Eagle Pads it lasts forever has VICE LIKE stopping power and you won't be sorry you got it. Have used these for YEARS don't but into the hype the V-Brake is done and over with; get the right pads and save a BUNCHA weight over a disc and have just as much braking power; I have used them hauling HUGE loads for years doing things most are just not crazy enough to do in places most would not go with said Huge Loads and they ALWAYS work and flawlessly. So they will stop your Mountain bike OK and with Confidence;

Trying these on skyway mags. Seem to work well. Takes time to adjust due to the pads toe-in design.;
