I ride on mainly decomposed granite sand type rocks tire works fine running 25 PSI I'm 240 lb fully loaded. I write on the tire with my Super Met Al marker so I know the direction to install plus the date I installed. I took off my old rear and it was about 4 years old with cords showing up hard on one sidewall and it was holding air. Glad I changed after I found out how bad the old tire was. Since my big ride is roughly a 10 mile circle I don't want to be walking if I have a blowout.;

I’ve tried so many different tires and the DHF is still king (unless you ride mud). But the quality control is truly horrendous. I’ve had to return three tires just to get one that doesn’t wobble like crazy when mounted. This is a widespread issue that’s been covered thousands of times but Maxxis doesn’t seem to care.;
