This is a great upgrade to the stock tires on my Trek Marlin 5. I installed the 2.5 on the front and a 2.3 in the rear and that's about the limit for this bike. Install is super easy and took about 5 minutes to take the old tire off and put the new one on with 3 tire spoons.;

an excellent front tire!;

This tire has no respect for rain ruts or rocks gardens. It makes my eMTB feel more like a motorcycle. Increases braking but I have not been able to ride it on anything but slippery trails so can’t really comment on its cornering abilities yet.;

I’ve only recently started riding mountain bikes and I made a lot of changes to my bike over the winter so I can’t say for sure that the difference I feel is all the tire. That being said I have ridden on two wheels enough to know how I like my front tire to feel. With the tire that came on my bike I could never find the correct pressure. After some research I figured out it wasn’t ment to be tubeless so figured that was my problem. The Minion dhf seems to make my bike hold the trail without feeling like the sidewall is folding over. Which has made me more confident and thus faster. I highly recommend this tire but nothing is perfect so I don’t give 5 stars.;

My go to front tire for years. Lots of imitations which says a lot.;
