Cheap and unrefined compared to proper shifters. Way clunky but have smoothed out a bit after some use. A guy at a bike shop recommended them and suggested greasing them up to make them feel better. They come dry. I am gong to break them in more hoping the pawls will smooth out even more before lubing them up. I'd give 3.5 stars if it were an option but 4 would be too much. Cheap but usable and worth the price. You get what you pay for. They get the job done and cable pull/indexing is fine with my Shimano 10s DuraAce derailleur. Hey it fixed the worn out Dura Ace shifter for $150 so.

After my Ultegra shifters froze I needed a new set immediately at first I was reluctant to buy these but because of circumstances I didn't have a choice. I am completely impressed with these they shift very cleanly they were easy to install and worked immediately with out too many adjustments. I would recommend these.
