My kid's 9"-wheeled scooter always had horribly squeaky brakes likely because of its painted rims. I tried a couple different "quiet" pads but these are the only ones I found that actually are quiet. Stopping power is pretty good compared to the other pads too.;

I replaced the brakes that came on my bike with these and the difference was night and day. These stop incredibly well and are already angled to contact the rim properly. Installation was as simple as unscrewing the old brake pads and screwing these on in their place (point the arrow toward the tire rotation).;
