Bred for Gravel Grinding, the Wildfire GX keeps you burning down access roads and back country like nobody`s business. Features the same small block tread as our Wildfire CX with increased width for staying firmly planted even on loose gravel. Connecting lug bridges increase rigidity while also aiding in puncture protection. Magnitude I level puncture protection - a high density Nylon layer beneath the tread surface.

I've got ~500 miles on these tires mixed surfaces with a fair bit of gravel and single track. I'm a tubeless fan but don't have a tubeless compatible set up on my gravel bike. They aren't marketed as tubeless compatible but I bet they'd work with a little TLC. I hate hate hate tubes but have yet to pinch flat and I think punctures are unlikely. I've rolled over glass cacti and goat heads and haven't had any repairs. Weight seems comparable to other industry leaders (WTB Specialized etc.). Tires are wearing well. Traction is good on loose surfaces. 4 stars because I haven't run them into the ground yet.;
