Profile Design Aerobar Bracket Riser Kit Black 40mm Risers wIth Hardware

Didn't even know that they made these until I was checking out things for my road bicycle. Really make it more comfortable to ride.;

I purchased these to give my cheap Chinese carbon aerobars a needed lift. Just for the record I love those aerobars they are solidly constructed and weigh less than 250g combined!

Enter this pair of risers which on its own weighs over 200g almost as much as the aerobars. These pieces could have easily be constructed with a lot less weight e.g. by strategically removing material on the interior or by using aluminum. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to find any other “universal” lighter-weight risers at the time. Oh well I may just try to bore a 1” hole through the center section myself and shave off a few grams.;

Perfect height for endurance riding. I purchased these to raise my aero bars for ultra long distance cycling. They raise my stance up not for aero benefits but to be comfortable pedaling for 12 hours.;

these don’t fit stick handle bars on a 2017 felt vr exactly. so the supplied bolts end up not being long enough. amazon has a great bolt ordering interface so that’s nice. at least 1/4 x 3 inch hex (allen). but they are a little heavier. and again the curve of the product won’t fit perfectly on your handle bars. i wish profile sold variations. even if it could be a little closer.;

easy to install. there are slight gaps between the brackets as i have seen others mention. But I am not good enough to worry about whatever aero penalty those gaps might cause.;
