It took me two tries to install this rim tape correctly and I had to borrow and extra set of hands. It certainly fits tightly so I don't think it will slide or slip like traditional rim tape. It appears very durable but I've only had it installed for 1 ride so it's too early to judge its durability.;

Traditional Velox tape shifts out of place over time. I've used those silly expensive plastic plugs. These snap-on strips are the best option. Just stick something in the valve hole to align it as you stretch it over the rim.;
