Works like a champ. It was the part I needed that was causing problems with shifting my bike after replacing the front crank. Be sure and double check the compatibility of parts with Shimano’s guide. Just because it’s Shimano doesn’t mean it will work.;

As usual this shimano product is very well made. however, it is fiendishly difficult to set up and is much more complicated than any other front derailleur I have ever used in the past 40 years. Why? Who knows? It does work fine once set up, but it takes a lot of effort to figure it out. You will need to have the dealer instruction manual in front of you to do it. You will never figure it out without the manual.;

I've read in numerous places that this must be paired with a GRX crank and should not be mixed with other Shimano cranks like a 105. It works for me with a GRX crank and 105 levers and rear derailleur.;
