I have two fully equipped MTB's with XTR 8-speed that pale in comparison to these new Stealth XTR hydraulic brakes. Received with extra foot of hose line connected to calipers and an extra farrel to custom cut line to length to insert into end of the line that goes to the levers for perfect functionality. Had to readjust the cockpit to put the brake levers to the other side of the XTR 8-speed shifters perfect compatibility. Had Hayes hydraulics on previously that kept failing. The seals in the levers deteriorate from the harsh DOT brake fluid. No worries with these beautiful Shimano XTR hydraulic brakes that use mineral oil. Easy set up with the Bleed Zone bleed kit and DIY video. Shimano doesn't give any install directions but direct you to their web site. I didn't go there because everything is really self explanatory on what needs to be done. Thank you.
