Arrived quickly and bolted right up. The crank was pretty inexpensive and there’s some flex but that’s to be expected from this price point.;

Lately I've been building up projects with SRAM. The more projects I finish with SRAM the more I appreciate the amount of performance and quality you get for the price.

This crankset comes without the bottom bracket. If you need one just purchased the GXP Team BB in the size needed.

The only real drawback to this crank is it's not light. Compared to 105/Ultegra Centaur this crank is between 100-150 grams heavier. This one weighed 840 grams on my scales.

With that said performance is comparable to Force outside of weight. I have a full Force and Red setup as well. Outside of weight this crank is nearly identical to Force in actual performance. In other words if you're really looking for an upgrade buy Red cranks over these not Force.

Installation is very simple and straight forward. As ling as you lightly lubricate the contact points and use a torque wrench installation takes under 7 minutes.

Speaking of torque I'm by no means overly cautious with torque specs. In fact usually I don't even use a torque wrench. However SRAM cranks are very sensitive to torque and the crank arms bolt really needs to be between 48-54nm. So seriously just use a torque wrench on this. If you don't want to buy one go to any Auto Zone or Advanced Auto and they'll lend you one for free or at most a few dollars.

I'm sum Rival is essentially Force after a weekend of binging on pizza. There really is no justifiable reason to opt for Force unless you're building a weight weenie project.

I absolutely recommend this and I'm sure it will give you thousands of trouble free miles!

Cheers!;

I got a great deal on this crank here on amazon. I am using it with shimano derailuers and shifters can is awesome. Just note that the bottom bracket required will change depending on bike frame.;
