Even though the image for this shows a battery installed there is none with the derailleur. Really lame they charge over 250.00 for a derailleur and then you have to pay another 50+ just to be able to use it expect you also have to pay another 50+ just to charge it. Every too manufacturer out there gives out battery chargers with their battery packs but sram figures its worth another 50 just cause they made it proprietary. Their customer care kept me from trying anything new from them for the last dozen years looks like after this set it'll probably be another dozen years till I try something new from them again.

Part arrived without battery. Had to order separately. Looks nice otherwise. HavenÔøΩt installed it yetÔøΩ since uhh well itÔøΩs not useable without a battery. I ordered a charger separately. Knowing IÔøΩd need that. DidnÔøΩt see any note under description saying you needed to order it individually. I guess its intended as a replacement and your supposed to buy the full kit. I purchased this for a 1x drivetrain for my time trial bike. So I wanted the click shifters and blip box. DonÔøΩt really care about clicks on the bars but can add those later. Would be nice to have to longer climbs or standing up occasionally.
