These tubes solve the problem of getting random flats all day long caused by thorns Staples and other garbage just laying around every now and then I did have one that I picked up a piece of glass one day and I could hear it slapping around in my tire every time I it came around and eventually it drove itself through my thorn resistant tube and I wound up on a flat imagine that but it was doing that for almost a mile if I had just stopped and pulled that piece of glass out before it punctured the tube I might have been better off
