My initial impressions of the Sweatsaver helmet I just received from Amazon is that the quality of design construction fit comfort finish and appearance is equivalent to the best motorsport helmets. The only apparent differences are directly attributable to intended use(s) and type/level of protection. I've reached the "I've met the enemy and it is my bathroom" stage of life. I need a good helmet for protection from mine. I've fallen many times in the last 15 years often sustaining very hard head impacts and cuts and been lucky to avoid serious injury. My Grandpa died of a fall in Mom's bathroom. Soft-type elder helmets don't cut it. This one will.
