I had been using a Fitbit Charge HR 2 to track my workout heart rate but it was reporting lower rates. I wanted an accurate source and it turns out this is much more than an accurate heart rate monitor! The app is full of little details that make it useful like being able to get details of cadence and HR at different points of the workout. And if you run it gives you feedback on the smoothness of your movement (how much you sway and bob). Great product. Underrated (whereas Fitbit is overrated).;

I've used HRMs from Polar and Garmin in the past but for me the Wahoo TickrX is the best currently available.
It's better than most others because (a) it has built-in memory so you can workout without carrying another device and download the session later and (b) it broadcasts cadence.
As well the compatibly Wahoo Fitness app is much more polished and reliable than anything from either Garmin or Polar.;

The accompanying app does support all the features. Wahoo support is quick but the answers are quite disappointing;

Accurate during a long bike ride!;

I've had it for a couple months now and ride about 6 times per week. Zero issues so far compared to endless issues with the Garmin Dual I replaced. Lights show you it's on and working Garmin doesn't. Battery is easily accessible Garmin's is nearly impossible to get out without destroying it. Connectivity has been flawless with both Ant and BT. Garmin had many issues connecting with Zwift. Easier putting it on and off. If you're trying to decide between the two don't. This is where you need to be.;
