The PF standard was a horrible idea but this solves the loose cup problem. I used this in a bike where the stock cups literately fell out of the frame when I removed the crank assembly. Installed this well made and designed solution and have no creaks whatsoever. It also is loaded with high quality Enduro bearings. I remove my crank occasionally and clean the dust shields but have never replaced the bearing in 18 months of year round mountain biking. Wheels Manufacturing also sells bearing replacement kits should you ruin a bearing from neglect. They are also available with ceramic bearings. I used only one installation tool and had no problems with the other cup spinning. I have 3 bikes with these high quality units and I am extremely satisfied.;
