Trainer Caps allow thru-axle bikes to be used with most wind, magnetic or fluid cycling trainers. Cold weather and short days are never far from a Minnesotan's mind so Wolf Tooth engineers created Trainer Caps to reduce barriers to winter workouts. Non-drive side axle caps are joined by drive-side plugs that can be installed or removed without tools to make the prospect of hopping on the trainer a little more bearable.

  • Compatibility: Wolf Tooth Rear Axles (not compatible with rear axles from other manufacturers)
  • Plug has O-ring retention – no tool required

It does the job it is intended to do. Pretty basic function. I replaced my thru-axle with the WT so I wouldn't have the quick release hanging off the side, & to help me from getting my wheels stolen as easily. This helps keep the bike off of the brakes & frame when it's laid on the left side. It also adds a splash of color to the rear.;

I've swapped out the stock axles for wolf tooth's version for some bling. Adding the axle cap adds a bit of color matching on the rear end in addition to some drop out protection.;

Well machined good quality axle cap and looks good also. Nice that you can remove axle without removing the cap itself well thought out and light.;

Looks like a mini peg on my bike. One mini peg. Think I won’t use it. Would look good on other bikes I’m sure.;
