Lots of rubber flashing around bead that should be trimmed away if you to make sure of a good bead seal if running tubeless. Took off Specialized 42 tires that measured 42.6mm wide. Put these supposed 44's on same rim and they measured only 40.5mm. So these are 40's and not 44's. Beware.

I thought I was buying a slightly wider tire @ 44mm vs my old 40mm instead I got smaller. After mounting I measured 39mm where my old tires (Bontrager GR1) were spot on at 40mm. Mind you this is not a narrow rim I think it's 25 or 28mm.
