Xlab Mezzo Cage Pod Black Bottle Cage Bicycle Bike Spare Parts Tools Waterproof

I would like for this to be a bit taller. It is shorter than my water bottle for no good reason. If taller it could maybe fit a jacket.;

Not easy to close without taking it off from the bike when you want to add your keys because inner bag doesn’t stay close. Adding something to keep the inner bag close will probably help.;

It works fine at holding things it’s very small and won’t hold a 29 tube unless that’s all you will put in there. It makes noises when going downhill hard. It’s pretty annoying so I might not use it. If you don’t have enough weight it will go flying off the bike.;

I decided to mount the Xlab Mezzo Cage Pod directly to an existing Topeak QR water bottle cage mount so it would be securely attached to one of the four positions on our tandem bicycle frame and not rattle around but could also be quickly removed using the QR clip. I drilled two holes in the side of the cage pod to mount it directly to the QR clip. The Mezzo pod easily holds a spare 26x1.4 inner tube Lezyne pocket drive air pump patch kit tire irons and hand wipes with some room to spare. I didn't use the included tool bag but everything fit snug enough to eliminate rattles. I'm very happy with the results. If I ever need the fourth cage position for water bottle I can swap out the Mezzo pod and carry it in a pannier bag instead.;
