This was advertised as 8.25" by 3". It is only 5 inch's long and 2 3/4" on outside measurements. You absolutely cannot get a 29 inch mtb tube inside this tube. I could use it for a multi tool 2 co2 cartridges and a plug kit but that is all.;

Perfect size but I didn’t read the other reviews. Yes the lid pops off just screwing it on. Put on a piece of tape and called it a day in all fairness it was only $11.;
