Nearly every thriathlete has had a bottle roll out of the holder and on to the race course which really sucks! Your hydration and fuel is now in question at best I use this cage in the 'torpedo' position (between the arms) and it works great. It is carbon fiber so it is very light. It has a stron hold on bottles but I will say that it hold some bottles better than others but holds all bottles pretty tightly. As a XLAB product it is built very well but tends to be pricey so shop around and get a good price.;
